Well my mom was out in July and one of the things we did was go to the Japanese Gardens in Portland, OR. A place I highly recommend to visitors and long time residents. I wanted to share a few of the pictures from the place.
Koi
Cool picture of the Koi they are in the lower pond swimming near the waterfall. As far as I know these Koi have never had laser beams attached to their heads and they don't seem particularly ill tempered.
